Here are some pictures of the interior that I have been working on. I have put in an 87 SS gauge package and hooked up a nice stereo.....

The next pictures show the terminals on the back of the tach. One wire goes to the distributor where it says tach, one wire goes to ground and the red goes to a powersource. Very easy for 85 and newer gauges. Pre 85 gauges are more involved and you can see that here.. Pre 1985 Gauge Install

These are the Blaupunkts I am using in the stock dash hole. Not pretty but functional..
