Here are some pictures of the interior that I have been working on. I have put in an 87 SS gauge package and hooked up a nice stereo.....
These
pictures are from the day
I brought the car home...
Here are
some pictures when I installed
the SS gauges...
The next pictures show the terminals on the back of the tach. One wire
goes to the distributor where it says tach, one wire goes to ground and
the red goes to a powersource. Very easy for 85 and newer gauges. Pre
85 gauges are more involved and you can see that here.. Pre 1985 Gauge Install
This is
what I had before.
Here you
can see I am just about done.
These new 88 gauges fit fine..
This is the
final results at night. I
also upgrade the bulbs to the brighter bulbs with instructions from MonteCarloss.com
dash light upgrade.
Now you see it...
Main radio head unit. LCD screen plugs into front and cd changer plugs in as well...
Now you don't!
This radio is Secret Audio model SS from www.customautosound.com
These are the Blaupunkts I am using in the stock dash hole. Not pretty but functional..
One of the rear JBL speakers.. I had to use a 4x10 adapter for these...
These speakers really crank...
The speakers are JBL GTO935 6"x9" 3-way Speakers from www.crutchfield.com
