Me and the car...

For those of you who thought I didn't exist here I am after the job is done....

Here's the car on the alignment rack...

Took over an hour with all the new shimming and stuff...

Alignment printout.

Check out those numbers. This thing was whacked.

All the parts.

Here the parts from www.p-s-t.com. $260 with free shipping and it came with everything. TRW parts too.

All apart...

No going back now....

Completed drivers side.

Completed drivers side...

Completed passenger side.

My car with...

Joe hosing down the street after we made a mess...2 of his SS's in the background....

Joe and the springs...

Here is my friend Joe from Brooklyn known as GBodyShop@hotmail.com on the Monte List.... His website is... http://gbodyshop.50megs.com/ and he has TONS of Monte parts and knowledge of TPI and many other Monte related issue's.. Without him I would never have been able to pull this job off... Thanks Joe....

Again...

here I am after we had to reset the springs....

New control arm...

Here's one of the new control arms with the new shafts and bushings and ball joints installed.

Control arm again...

Old lower control arm...

we had to beat the crap out of this arm till we decided to pick up a impact pickle fork set....

Old stuff...

Old spindle and arms.... Joe used his air drill and a wire brush and cleaned them up and I sprayed them with some chassis paint....

More old stuff...

Shafts installed...

More control arm shaft pics.

Look at this slacker...

This is Joe after we had to go back into the springs to re-seat them. We put them in without knowing about those and bent a few over and I actually broke one off bending it back into shape. We got the re-seated in a couple of hours and all was good....

New and Old...

Look at the height difference. I used Moog 5660's... Very nice springs....

Steering Linkage

Here's the old linkage out in one piece so we can line up the new stuff...

It's all out....

Lot's of room in there for big tires....

Drivers side well....
